1. Is this program accredited?
Yes, the Doctor of Nursing Practice program at Âé¶¹ÉçÇøapp is accredited
by the , Western Association of School and Colleges (WASC) and the California Board of Registered
Nurses (BRN).
2. Can I work during the program?
Yes, the DNP program format is designed for the working adult. The program is online,
with mandatory on campus residency 3-4 times during the program.
3. How much does the program cost?
The total cost of the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program is $715 per unit, for
36-45 units; plus a $1,033 per semester program fee.
4. How long does the program take to complete?
This program is 2 years (6 terms) part-time.
5. What is the main goal of the program?
The systems leadership DNP prepares one to lead a system-wide change including the
development, planning, implementation and evaluation of the change and its outcomes.
Systems leadership DNP graduates are well-prepared to assume major leadership roles
in all types of health care and educational organizations.
6. What does the DNP project entail?
The DNP project begins with the identification of a problem at an organization/institution.
Students will learn how to develop, implement and evaluate the project while in the
program.
