Biography
Everyone in Global Engagement at CBU were very kind and welcoming. I struggled to adjust my first few weeks there, and the International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) staff and interns were happy to get a meal with me, share their experiences and guide me towards resources that helped me through the transition. Their kindness was part of what motivated me to apply to be an ISSS intern during my junior and senior year.

I learned valuable skills for my career and built connections that have helped me grow to this day.

Skills
There is a lot I learned in classes that helped me in my job and even in graduate school, but those are technical things specific to my major. I also learned a lot of skills working in different offices that have carried on in my professional life, from writing emails, communication skills to planning events. They helped develop the soft skills that have helped me network and build relations in my career.
Return on Investment
Yes, I think my degree at CBU was worth the investment. I learned valuable skills, met amazing friends, met my spouse and the school as well as the alumni network helped me land my first job. I cherish my time there.
